Let’s compare:

AIESEC
TOASTMASTERS International
Mission
AIESEC identifies itself as "the international platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential."
The mission of a Toastmasters club is “to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth”.
Membership
The AIESEC network includes over 86,000 members.
The organization has more than 280,000 memberships
Representation
In 113 countries and territories, in over 2,400 universities across the Globe.
13,500 clubs in 116 countries.
If so resembling communities get together, by all means, empathy and the spirit of unity arise. That happened on the 29-th of November, when
Kiev Toastmasters’ clubs joint team organized a meeting during AISEC general gathering.
The event took place in Kiev Economic University; by the way it clarified that KEU is an “Alma Mater” for many Toastmasters’ members....
We really enjoyed the time; it was a great possibility to meet so many bright, educated, goal-seeking young people….
From TM side, Timur Berezhnoy, Anna Naleskina, Olga Pustyntseva, Boghdan Trotsenko and Oksana Tykha performed their best to bring the idea of how synergetic Toastmasters’ activity is to people who are striving for self-improvement....

Second Master Class moderated by Wayne Morris (the first one was in June 2011) - a profound and educating talk about:

* Deployment of effective and involved listening skills in professional and personal life;* Goals of open communication;
* What is one question which could change corporate culture to more positive?
At the end listeners obtained a challenging task to find answers for two critical questions:

• "What is the most important thing in the life for YOU?"
• "Are YOU a “light” or “darkness” for others?"
